 3. Ongoing Mission Project – Newhebron Baptist Church  has completed the “Jan McPhail Mission Project.” This started with NHBC Men’s Ministry “Iron Sharpens Iron” desire to help the McPhail’s by building them a new back porch. It soon became apparent that the need was greater than a back porch. After talking with the McPhail’s and receiving their blessing we set out on a mission to replace their mobile home. NHBC members worked hard and raised the money needed to purchased the mobile home! The mobile home was delivered on 8/18/2020! The McPhail’s spent their first night in the new trailer 12/7/2020. A special thank you to all that prayed, gave and worked to help us complete this project. Thank you for giving to The Lord

 Thank You, Brother Mike

4. Newhebron Baptist Church Celebrate Recovery Ministry

What Is This? It Is A Christ Centered, Biblically Based Recovery Ministry…

Location  – The Class Room Next To The Old Kitchen In The Fellowship Hall Building

 Time: 6:30PM Each Tuesday evening

Sponsored By: Barry and Renee McCool’s Sunday School Class And Others

Purpose of this ministry is best defined by the Celebrate Recovery Mission Statement:

Celebrate Recovery exist to equip the local church to provide a safe place for families to celebrate lives and freedoms from their hurts, hang-ups and habits; through the power of Jesus Christ.”

The 8 principles of the Celebrate Recovery program are based on the 8 Beatitudes that are found in Matthew 5.

There are 12 “Biblical Steps” that the Celebrate Recovery Ministry is built upon. Each step is built upon its very own Bible verse.

Celebrate Recovery Foundational Verse Is: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

Statistics: This is a ministry that 3 ½ million people have been through. Twenty nine thousand churches have/are using Celebrate Recovery as a ministry to help their churches and communities.

Originated Out Of: Saddle Back Community Church In Lake Forrest California!

Quotes From Pastor Rick Warren: “There are 2 kinds of people in the world. Those that know they need recovery and those that need recovery and don’t know they need it”.

All people can benefit from a recovery ministry because we are all a part of the fallen world.

Celebrate Recovery is not just for those that struggle with drugs and alcohol addictions. Again it is for all that need freedom from any type hurt, hang-up or habit!

This is a ministry that I support 100% as your Senior Pastor and ask for your prayers and your support as well!

 Thank You – Brother Mike
